The Corporate Fund offers a Board Self-Assessment Kit which allows nonprofit boards to assess their effectiveness in a variety of areas. The kit asks board members to rate their board in 12 different areas, ranging from Board-Staff roles to External Relations Practices. Tallying results can give a board a picture of where their strengths lie and what areas to focus on for improvement.

By following the directions carefully, the kit may be used effectively.
